These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of techkitchen.ai and related services operated by TechKitchen.ai ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use our services.

2. Service Tiers

TechKitchen.ai offers multiple access tiers:

  • Public: Free access to public content and project overviews.
  • Subscriber: Paid monthly or annual subscription providing access to deeper content, AI chat features, and project details.
  • Patron: By invitation. Patrons receive full access to project internals, financials, and direct collaboration opportunities.

Features and content available at each tier may change as we develop the platform.

3. Subscriptions and Payment

Subscriber tier access requires a paid subscription processed through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our services in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, code, designs, and materials on TechKitchen.ai are owned by us or our licensors unless explicitly stated otherwise. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access content at your tier level. You may not redistribute, republish, or resell content without written permission.

6. AI Features

Our AI chat and assistant features are provided as-is. AI-generated responses may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely on AI output as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. We are not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create on our platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display and distribute it within the platform as necessary to provide our services.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to access paid content ceases immediately.

9. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechKitchen.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or prominent notice on our website.
